Pangeran ketiga Pang Yu ( Tan Jian Ci ) dan Menteri Feng Xi ( Jin Han ) telah berteman lama dan saling menjaga seperti saudara seumur hidup. Meskipun kedua teman itu berbeda satu sama lain seperti siang dan malam, persahabatan mereka telah bertahan seiring waktu. Tapi persahabatan seumur hidup mereka mulai runtuh ketika mereka bertemu dengan Dong Yue ( Sun Yi ) yang penuh gairah dan menggemaskan .


Sebagai seorang jenderal pemberani Dingyuan yang berani, Dong Yue dikirim kembali pada waktunya untuk menghentikan perang yang akan merenggut nyawa orang-orang tak berdosa yang tidak bersalah. Selama perjalanannya melewati waktu, dia bertemu Feng Xi dan Pang Yu. Meskipun kehadiran Dong Yue dalam kehidupan Pang Yu menginspirasinya untuk terlibat dalam pekerjaan politik keluarganya, entah bagaimana watak manisnya tidak pernah berhasil memenangkan hati Dong Yue. Pesona jahat Feng Xi, bagaimanapun, menyentuh hati Dong Yue dengan cara yang belum pernah dia lihat sebelumnya. Meskipun dia peduli dengan kedua temannya, misinya bukanlah untuk kembali ke masa lalu hanya untuk jatuh cinta. Ada penjahat penghasut yang perlu dihentikan.


Dengan Lu Yuan Tang ( Zhang Zhi Jian ) siap menghancurkan negara, Dong Yue harus menemukan cara untuk menghentikannya. Tapi itu bukanlah tugas yang bisa dia lakukan sendiri. Hanya dengan bantuan Pang Yu dan Feng Xi barulah dia bisa memperbaiki keadaan. Akankah dia berhasil mendamaikan dua saudara laki-laki yang dipisahkan oleh kebencian cemburu, atau apakah bangsanya dikutuk ke nasib yang tak terbayangkan?
